Position
Are you the creative force behind impactful social media brands? Do you go beyond simply following trends and know how to turn them into strategic opportunities? team.blue is looking for a Social Media Specialist to take on a shared (duo) role, independently managing and growing the social media presence of both our Belgian and Dutch brands.
You will work cross-border on several strong brands within the group, including Combell in Belgium and TransIP in the Netherlands. You collaborate closely with marketing colleagues in both countries while carefully safeguarding the distinct voice and identity of each brand.
This is a hands-on expert role rather than a people management position. You take ownership from idea to execution: creating, producing, and publishing content that connects with our audiences and directly supports our marketing and business goals.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute channel-specific social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives
Create engaging content across formats, including copy, visuals, and short-form video
Plan, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms
Manage and grow multiple brand accounts while ensuring consistent tone and positioning
Actively manage and engage with online communities, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional way
Identify relevant trends, conversations, and platform developments, and translate them into content opportunities
Monitor performance metrics and translate insights into continuous content and strategy optimization
Run experiments and A/B tests to improve reach, engagement, and conversion
Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and brand teams to align campaigns and messaging
Profile
At least 3 years of experience in a similar social media role
Proven experience independently managing multiple brands or social media account
Strong strategic thinking skills combined with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset
Creative with a strong visual sense
Experience in a B2B, SaaS, or technology-driven environment is a strong plus
Affinity with digital products, online services, and technology trends
Deep knowledge of major social media platforms and their best practices
Experience with social media and content tools such as Metricool, Hootsuite, Canva, or similar platforms
Comfortable working with analytics and performance data to guide decisions
Experience with influencer marketing is a plus
Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
Based within reasonable travel distance of our Ghent office and available to work hybrid (minimum 1 day per week on-site)
